Audition For Our
2025-2026 Season
We are hearing auditions on a rolling basis. If you’d like to audition, please click here to fill out the request form. Auditioned choirs include Illuminate, Elevate, Fortify, and Summit.
Our Non Auditioned Choirs include Ignite (3-4 grade) and Enchant (5-6 grade). You can register for these choirs here. Read more about all of our choirs here.
Prerequisites (auditioned choirs only): Students in 7th-12th grade must be enrolled in a school music ensemble (choir, band, orchestra, guitar) in order to be a member of SLYC.
About the schedule: Rehearsals are on Monday nights at Willard Middle School. Students will rehearse with their individual choir based on the following times:
Ignite is for 3rd-4th graders and is from 5:15-6:00pm
Enchant is for 5th-6th graders and is from 5:30-6:30pm
Illuminate is for 7th-9th grade treble singers and is from 6:00-7:20pm (audition required)
Fortify is for 7th-12th grade tenors and basses and is from 7:30-8:20pm (audition required)
Elevate is for 10th-12th grade treble singers and is from 7:00-8:20pm (audition required)
Summit is a select mixed group of high schoolers and is an additional choir. Summit is from 8:30-9:15pm. (audition required)
Membership fees (non auditioned choirs): The membership fee per student is $275 per semester or $500 for the full season. Non auditioned choirs include Ignite and Enchant.
Membership fees (auditioned choirs): The membership fee per student is $400 per semester or $700 for the full season. Auditioned choirs include Illuminate, Fortify, and Elevate.
